Brooklyn BeerFest
Sponsored by the Craft Brewers Guild, the BeerFest will take place on Sunday, September 14, on North 11th Street outside the Brooklyn Brewery. For your $20 admission, expect unlimited tastings of 150 domestic and imported beers along with food from local restaurants and live music. Call 718-486-7422 for more information.

Chambly, Quebec: September 4-7, 1997
Festibière de Chambly
Canada's best beer festival takes place this year from September 4-7. Running from noon to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, this outdoor event features a wide selection of beers, an idyllic location, great food and entertainment, all for $8 per day plus tasting tickets. Faversham, Kent, England: September 13 and 14, 1997
3rd Brogdale Cider & Perry Festival
Something a little different to help celebrate the harvest. Some 30 ciders and perries will be available for sampling, and apple tastings and orchard tours will also be featured. The fest takes place at the Brogdale Horticultural Trust on Brogdale Road on September 13 and 14, and admission ranges from £2.50 for adults to £1.50 for children & CAMRA card-carrying members.
