Feedback -- Your Comments, Criticisms and Contributions

Dear People;
I have been looking for a source of Chieftan (perhaps now known as John Bull Masterclass) beer kits in Canada. They are a full 3.6 kg kit requiring no sugar and superior to any of the smaller kits that I have come across. Any assistance on this score would be appreciated.
Thanks,

-- Fred

As usual, I've been stumped by a homebrewer's question. Can anyone help Fred out?

I would like to know about alcohol contents of popular beers?

-- Ron

A few days after I received Ron's e-mail, I found a handy page with a wealth of beer alcohol content information. I won't vouch for its absolute accuracy, but you can check it out for yourself at http://www.worrellbros.com/beer.html

I need some information on the beer market around world.

-- Gu Zhengliang

We'll do our best here, but for more on beer around the globe, try visiting the Real Beer Page (http:\\www.RealBeer.com) and Breworld (http:\\www.breworld.com).

Steve;

The Buffalo Beer Festival was great, as usual. I tried a fine kölsch from a brewery in Rochester called Rohrbachs; it turned out to be the best, in my opinion. I love the Ellicottville Brewing Co beers, too, especially the IPA. There were more imported beers than in recent years. We tried some Czech brews and John Courage beers. Also some great wheat beer from a brewery in Pittsburgh that is housed in a converted church!

-- Jeremy A Stott

Thanks for the report, Jeremy. If anyone else out there would like to send us the highlights (or lowlights) of beer festivals in their area, we'd love to hear from you.
