Vermont Brewers Festival

At least 30 breweries will be present serving up more than 100 different beers, with the emphasis on interesting small-batch brewers from around the northeast and Québec. This fest at Portland's Tom McCall Waterfront Park is fast developing legendary status among the denizens of the brewing industry. Qingdao 7th Annual International Beer Festival '98

The press release says that this is the most influential beer exhibition in China, and with a reported 1.12 million visitors last year, that's easy to believe.
