UMIST Rag Beerfest 2001

Location: UMIST Students Union, Manchester

The event has been running since 1984 and raises money for local charities. It features 50 ales, ciders and continental lagers, with entertainment each night including a casino and a live band. CAMRA members should be attending and a discount may be offered, so this is not just for students!

Hours: 2pm-2am
Admission: £3 (includes glass), re-entry £1 with glass: advance tickets £2.50.

Washington Cask Beer Festival

Location: Seattle Center - Alki Room

The Washington Brewers Guild presents its Second Annual Cask Beer Festival. Some 40 Washington breweries will be present, pouring some of their finest cask-conditioned beers.

Hours: 12pm-4pm, 6pm-10pm
Admission: $25.00 per session. $30 per session at the door.
