January 20 and 27, 2004 - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Beer School at beerbistro
Join Stephen Beaumont for two informal and fun beer tasting and education events at Toronto's first beer cuisine restaurant, beerbistro. Each session will be held in the restaurant's intimate back room and attendance is very limited. On January 20, sample a broad array of ales and lagers during this fascinating introduction to the world of beer. Learn the secrets of the brewing process, discover classic beer styles and taste why some beers pair magnificently with their national cuisines, while others do not! On January 27, in a lead-up to beerbistro's month-long Belgian Celebration in February, find out why the tiny northern European nation of Belgium is considered by many to be beer's promised land. Ales sampled in this session will include some of the world's universally acknowledged greats.
Location: beerbistro, 18 King Street East Hours: 6pm-8:30pm Admission: $45, which includes beer and food samples Organization: beerbistro Phone: 416-861-8242
