Mondial de la Bière

Québec's premier beer event enters its 11th year with another staging at the beautifully restored Windsor Station in the heart of downtown. Not just beers are available at the Mondiale, as booths also feature whiskies, ports, ciders and even ports.

The Robert Lehman Gallery at UrbanGlass presents Dan Mirer

This exhibition showcases the work of glassblower and home brewer Dan Mirer, created during a Visiting Artist Fellowship at UrbanGlass in the fall of 2003. Mirer's work explores the possibilities of design, glassmaking techniques, and functionality of the beer bottle. The exhibition features one of a kind pieces as well as limited edition bottles that will be full of beer and served at the opening on June 17.

Brew At The Zoo

Sample some of the best brew in the area as the Delaware Valley Chapter of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation presents Brew at the Zoo. (Mitochondria are the "power plants" inside living cells. If they don't work properly, the body doesn't get the energy it needs. Parts of the body that need the most energy are affected - the brain, the heart, muscles and the lungs - and suffer the most. Families of dying children continue to hope.
