Great Alaskan Beer and Barley Wine Festival
Where better to celebrate cold weather ales and barley wines but in Alaska? This is the tenth annual edition of this outstanding winter beer fest befitting the American Diabetes Association.

Spirit of Belgium
The Brewers United for Real Potables (yes, that's BURP) will sponsor the fourth "Spirit of Belgium" Belgian and Belgian-Style Beer Conference and Competition in Arlington. This nationally recognized, three day conference will feature speakers from England, Belgium and the United States, and include technical sessions on the history, enjoyment and brewing of Belgian beer. There will also be receptions featuring Belgian beer, US produced Belgian-style beer, and homebrewed Belgian-style beer. The closing event will be a Belgian Beer and Food Banquet.
This year's National Winter Ales Festival, sponsored by the Manchester Evening News, will be the biggest Winter Ale festival in the North West, with a new venue in the heart of the most vibrant city in the UK. The festival is returning to Manchester after an absence of two years and promises to be a great showcase for winter ales from around the UK. The event will benefit Francis House Children's Hospice
