Canada Cup of Beer

The first-ever Canada Cup of Beer will feature over 25 booths with well over 100 beers, including local craft brews, imports and domestic brands. The event will also feature education seminars, local entertainment and a variety of food vendors so that patrons may try their hand at beer and food pairing.

Oshkosh Jaycees Brews & Blues Festival

A charity microbrew and music festival to benefit the Christine Anne Center for Domestic Abuse by the Oshkosh Jaycees will begin at 1pm and end at 6pm. Live music by Fuse, Copper Box and headlining act Duwayne Burnside. Sample over 100 brews and enjoy live music and great food.

Admission: $25 ahead, $35 door

19th annual Oregon Brewers Festival

Each summer, Portland, Oregon welcomes more than 50,000 beer lovers to the four-day event. Aficionados come from all over the country and the world to experience this grassroots festival, which began as a way to expose the public to microbrews at a time when the craft brewing industry was just getting off the ground.

Location: Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. The event takes place between the Morrison and Burnside Bridges. Main entrance at S.W. Oak Street and Bill Naito Parkway
Hours: Thursday: Gates open 3:30pm & taps open 4pm-9pm; Friday and Saturday: Gates open 11:30am & taps open noon-9pm; Sunday: Gates open 11:30am & taps open noon-7pm.
Admission: Free for entry to the festival. A one-time purchase 2006 souvenir mug costs $4 and is required for consuming beer.
