Seattle International Beerfest
Boasting 130 beers from 15 different countries and specializing in hard-to-find rare & exotic styles from breweries near & far, the SIB is a beer aficionado's treat. The feel is similar to the famed beer gardens of Germany & Belgium: Stroll around the tree-laden grass with a gourmet beer as you listen to great bands play all weekend. You'll find delicious BBQ and other good stuff to eat, along with a world-class cigar bar and plenty of free games such as darts, chess, checkers, and backgammon. It's 21 & over only, but pet-friendly.
Location: Seattle Center Mural Amphitheater, right under the Space Needle
Hours: FRI: 4-10pm, SAT: 12-10pm, SUN 12-7pm Admission: $20 includes 10 beer tickets & glass. Extra tickets $1 each. Organization: PET CROSS: A Seattle-based charity who donates all event profits to other local animal welfare groups (kind of an "Animal Santa" if you will) Contact: Rick Carpenter Phone: 800-301-7715 Fax: 206-937-1900 Email: info@seattlebeerfest.com
