I have had the pleasure of trying a few beers from different countries but I have to say that 'Fishers Amber' supposedly from France is still by far my favourite beer. Unfortunately I have not been able to find it here in Northwest Arkansas for the last two years. If you can give me any further history on this beer it would be very enjoyable. Fishers also makes a bitter beer that I really do not care for at all.
Thank you.

Fischer Amber is brewed by Fischer Beverages of France, which is in turn owned by Heineken. You can contact them through the web site www.fischerbeverages.com.
I really enjoyed your interview last week on the splendid table. you mentioned rodenbach grand cru on the show.
This is my favourite beer, but i'm having trouble finding it. none of the stores in my area (Los Angeles) have been able to get their hands on it for the past 18 months. can you help me?
With much appreciation,
-- Michael Hirt
Rodenbach is imported by Vanberg & DeWulf, so I suggest you contact them for more info. You can reach the company through www.belgianexperts.com.
I liked your article on the Bush daughters. Very good and right to the point. You wouldn't happen to be a Libertarian would you?
Cheers
-- Randall
Thanks for your comments, but no, I'm not a libertarian. Not a librarian, either.
Hi Stephen,
I am Andrea, a beer lover. I am very "addicted" to the good european beers.
This summer I will be in Canada for Holiday and I'd like to visit some brewery or brewpubs. I know you write a book called THE GREAT CANADIAN BEER GUIDE 2nd ED., but I've seen on beerbooks.com that this item is currently not available !! Where can I buy this book? I will be in Vancouver on 3rd August ...there are some book-shops with this item? I hope you will help me !!
-- Andrea (milan, italy)
You should be able to find the Guide in any major bookstore in Vancouver, either at an independent bookseller or a larger store like Chapters or Indigo. The new Great Canadian Beer Guide should be available through http://www.beerbooks.com within a short time.
