The beer market is constantly changing, as you know. Lord knows I try to stay on top of things, but it's always going to be a losing battle. Thanks for the updates.
On a trip to Washington State two years ago, I stopped at a restaurant in the Bavarian tourist town of Leavenworth, and tried some Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel
(http://www.merchantduvin.com/pages/5_breweries/ayinger_altbairisch.html). It was exceedingly good, and I'd love to get my hands on several cases for a party at the end of the year. Problem is, I haven't been able to find it anywhere since then. Are there any distributors in my hometown of Austin, TX that might be able to get some for me, or any place that I could mail-order it from? Thanks a bunch.
- Alex
My suggestion would be to go back to the MdV site and query them about distribution in your area.
Hello,
I am a Florida resident originally from Western New York. I used to enjoy Molson Export whenever I had the urge for one as I could stroll down to the corner store and pick up a six-pack. I cannot do that in Central Florida. Do you carry this beer or know of anyone in this area that may? Please help! Hockey season is in full gear and it would be much more enjoyable with a frosty cold Molson Ex! Thank you.
- Scot
World of Beer is not a beer retailer, so we don't carry Ex or any other beer. I'd suggest that you get in touch with your local distributor of Molson.
Dear Mr. Beaumont
According to researchers at King's College and St. Thomas's hospital in London, England, a glass of beer a day is one of the best ways in which young men and women can ensure they have strong and healthy bones.
The British specialists have found that an individuals intake of silicon, a mineral absorbed from the soil by plants and especially by cereals such as wheat and barley, can be directly linked to bone strength. At the same time, they have discovered beer is one of the richest sources of silicon in the modern diet.
The specialists from England are now in collaboration with medical professionals from Harvard University and Tufts University in Boston to further study the beer/bone density factor.

Interesting information. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
