Dear Sir,
I am looking for an Italian beer I had while visiting in Washington state. I believe it was called or at least close to Bremea. I did not see this name listed on your web site and was hoping you can give me some information on this beer. Thank you for your time.

Could it be that the beer you're talking about is Menabrea? A pale lager in a green bottle? If so, simply ask at your best available beer retailer if it's available.
I have been trying to find some information about a brewery in Zweibrucken and Pirmasens, Germany called Parkbrau. I was stationed there in the late 70's and early 80's and their Christmas beer (Pirminator -SP?) was one of the best I've ever had. I would like to find out about getting some shipped to my home. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can practice your German here: http://www.park-bellheimer.de/
Is there a collector's market for beer? If so, what are the highest price beers that have been bought/sold in this market? I've found info elsewhere about the record price for commercially available beer being around $100/case. This seems low. Since you've mentioned that some people cellar beer, there must be higher prices charged for the best of this. What do you know about it? Thanks.

There is a small collectors market for beer, about one one-millionth the size of that for wine. As for the top prices, I really can't say. Troll around eBay for long enough, though, and I can guarantee you that you'll find some decent auctions underway.
(And some very kind feedback from a northern California visitor to beerbistro, the beer cuisine restaurant and bar I co-own in Toronto.)
Well, Stephen, I've got to say that beerbistro was the highlight of the trip.
I was warmly greeted by Brian. He mentioned that you had told him that I'd be by, and he welcomed me with wheat beer tasters, which I thought was a wise choice (or is that weisse choice?) to present to a thirsty traveler.
The very attentive Vickie took care of the rest of my needs. She had a pretty good beer knowledge - a very refreshing change from most of the rest of the world.
Your beer selection was very well considered and balanced. When I travel, I mainly like to concentrate on the locals but sometimes like to fall back on the more exotic but more widely available. After a thirsty 2000 mile flight a refreshing Cantillon Gueuze sounded perfect. The beer menu, obviously authored by you, showed that great balance that I like. Enjoyable reading for the 3 hours I spent there.
The delightful food provided a splendid palate cleansing between beers. Your pairings were quite thoughtful.
Thanks for the perfect beer experience Stephen!

Thank you, Chris. And I hope that when you're next through town I will not be on the road, as I was this time.
