Is there a website that lists pubs outside of the Greater Toronto Area?
- Lisa
Nothing specific to that task that I know of, I'm afraid. But you can always jump on to the forums at bartowel.com and ask there. Its denizens are a pretty friendly bunch.
Re: A Visit to Fuller's
I enjoyed your article and sincerely hope there are tastings on the brewery tour, which I'm planning to take with a friend when we travel to London in March. Now if only we can convince our better halves to come along ... or maybe it makes a better boys' day out.
Do you know if Fuller's or any other critics/reviewers publish a webpage that lists times and features of their tours? We haven't been able to discover whether we just show up at the door or if we need advance tickets or exactly when they run them. Many thanks

For Fuller's tour info, go to fullers.co.uk and click on 'Fuller's Beer' followed by 'Brewery Tour.' When you open the tour page, you'll see a link in the lower left corner for info on how to book your tour.
Do you ever provide info for homebrewers, or recommended links?

The focus of World of Beer is beer from a consumer's perspective, rather than that of a homebrewer. I suggest surfing through realbeer.com and beertown.org for the kind of info you seek.
Hi, we have an upscale Italian/French restaurant on the water here in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and are looking for a small beer distributor who might carry some fine beers for our restaurant. Would you know of any such companies we could contact?
I am having trouble finding them, as most are large companies who sell commercial style
beers and have a very large minimum order. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's always gratifying to see an upscale restaurant wanting to diversify and expand their beer selection, Sheri, so good for you. And although I'm not overly familiar with the Ft. Lauderdale beer scene, but I do know of one very good beer importer based in your state. Stop by specialtybeer.com and drop a line to D&V International, and tell 'em I sent you! They should be able to get you started.
