I've got Coors Light and MGD that have been sitting in my garage for 4 years (No, I don't drink that crap! I like Guinness). We're having a party this weekend. Can we use this swill or should we buy fresh?
- David

After four years, no, it's probably not going to be all that good. On the other hand, there's one sure way to find out, right? (Old beer can't harm you, so there's no fear there.) Personally, even though I wouldn't actually drink the stuff, I'd be curious to try it.

Subject: upon reading about oysters
Have you tried this (http://www.21st-amendment.com/beerlist):
OYSTER POINT OYSTER STOUT
Deep black color. Chocolate milk color head, providing an array of Belgian lace. Toffee and light roasty aromas and flavors. A malty sweet taste is evident but, this rich oatmeal based stout finishes dry. Made with 20 lbs. of oysters, in the boil, from our good friends at Hog Island Oyster Company.
5.9% alcohol/vol. - 45 IBU's

Although I've tasted numerous oyster stouts in the past, I've never had the pleasure of trying the 21st Amendment's, Justin. Thanks for the heads-up; maybe it will appear on tap the next time I'm in San Francisco.

(And for those of you who still pledge allegiance to Anheuser-Busch's tequila-flavoured Tequiza, here's some info and commentary from a fellow admirer)

Turns out Tequiza IS still in production, but the Phoenix distributor (Hensley) won't carry it. I know it has not been the big seller AB was hoping for, but I also think AB has not marketed the product correctly. I adore Tequiza! Happily, we can still get it in our BP station in Pt. Roberts, Washington. I have been surprised by the wealth of negative comments I see in online reviews of this product...we stock our boat with Tequiza in the summer and everyone who tries it (most are Canadians, so the product is new to them) likes it. Regards, Janet
