i am in search of amstel. the 5% pilsner that you would get in amsterdam. i have read some articles and it seems the brewery was once owned by heineken but it was closed years back? do you know anywhere else i might find this beer. thanks,
- jeff
Heineken still brews Amstel in Holland, but does not import it to North America. Sorry.
Hello,
Could you inform me of who in the US is producing jeroboams, methuselahs (six litre bottles), salmanazars (nine litre bottles) or nebuchadnezzers (fifteen litre bottles)?
I am looking for a 50th wedding anniversary gift for an uncle who loves beer.
Thanks!

The few I know bottling in large format are mostly west coast breweries like Russian River and Stone (both CA), Hair of the Dog (OR) and Fish (WA).
can some types of energy drinks mixed with beer be bad? what effects can it have on a person?
- Nichelle
I'm not a nutritionist, so I advise you to get a professional opinion on this, but I have heard that some popular energy drinks can cause ill effects when mixed with alcohol. Since alcohol is a depressant and the energy drinks are all stimulants, this would make sense to me.
