Do you know of any beers and lagers in England that can be purchased either in supermarkets or chain of pubs. Thanks

Re: Musings on the Price of Beer

I have never tasted the beer you are describing, but I am a long-time beer aficionado and, coincidentally, I have also been a wine buyer for several large retail stores for over 30 years. My experience tells me that a higher quality product will nearly always command a premium price - and get it.

Your argument is on solid ground. The folks who make any of this kind of stuff usually sell it as fast as they can make it; some wineries I know of put you on a waiting list for vintages that haven't even happened yet!
- Bill Regensburger

Thanks for the support, Bill. Even the most expensive beer is still a bargain compared to most if not all of the wines you describe, yet for some reason people fail to appreciate that.
