Volunteering at Feeding Tampa Bay Warehouse
The WOB Bar & Kitchen Support Team recently swapped keyboards for cardboard and spent a meaningful, high-energy day volunteering at the Feeding Tampa Bay Warehouse—and it was an experience we won’t soon forget!
From the moment we stepped onto the sorting floor, it was go-time. Our team jumped right into action—unpacking food donations, checking expiration dates, sorting fresh produce, assembling meal kits, and stacking boxes like pros. It didn’t take long before we found our rhythm and fell into a fun, fast-paced flow of assembly-line teamwork. There was plenty of laughter, some friendly competition, and a real sense of purpose behind every task.
But the best part? Knowing that every box we packed would help feed local families, seniors, and children experiencing food insecurity across our community. It wasn’t just about moving cans and cartons—it was about making a real impact, together.
We’re proud to have played a small part in Feeding Tampa Bay’s mission to end hunger in West Central Florida, and we’re already looking forward to our next volunteer day.
