Orange You Thisty?
Did you know International Ataxia Awareness Day was on September 25th? To celebrate this special day, WOB Bar & Kitchen partnered with Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA), a nonprofit dedicated to the pursuit of scientific research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s Ataxia, on the sales of a unique beer. WOB’s propriety beer line, Secret Llama, brewed a Creamsicle Blonde Ale which would give $1 back to the charity when a beer was sold. The Creamsicle Blonde Ale is brewed with Pilsner, Vienna & wheat malts, hopped with Perle & Saaz, and conditioned with orange and vanilla.
At the charity fundraising event, The FARA Energy Ball, in 2021, WOB donated ‘Name The Beer’ which awarded the winning bidder the rights to name The Creamsicle Blonde Ale. After deliberation, the winning couple came up with the name ‘Orange You Thirsty?’. Throughout the Fall months, WOB askes their guest to help cheers to this cause.
