WOB Bite of the Month: Pimento Cheeseburger
Its summertime at WOB! We are ready to fire up our grills and drink beer. Okay, fine, we will handle the cooking and leave the beer drinking to you.
This summer, we took our grilling game to the next level with our Pimento Cheeseburger. Our 100% fresh Angus beef custom 75/25 blend of black and red Angus beef is packed with flavor, coated in our house seasoning and grilled over our open flame chargrill to perfection. We top it with a hefty scoop of pimento cheese, which consists of a blend of cream cheese, cheddar cheese & roasted peppers to give it a kick. Then, we top it with two slices of candied applewood smoked bacon and finish it with crispy fried onions & shredded lettuce. It’s all served on our lightly toasted brioche bun and drizzled with a sweet and spicy chipotle BBQ sauce! Are you drooling yet?
This flavor packed burger can stand up to a BIG beer, so naturally we suggest you enjoy it with a Belgian Quad, a Belgian-style ale of great strength & bold flavor. Quads are brews that fall between the deep red and ruby brown end of the spectrum and are full-bodied beers with rich, malty palate with a low bitterness yet well perceived alcohol (ranging between 9-14% ABV). Quads are the perfect pairing for this over-the-top, flavor packed burger.
